Under the Joint Chief’s Initiative (JCI), USDA-NRCS, the U.S. Forest Service, and other partners in Puerto Rico leverage resources to work collaboratively at a landscape-scale level to increase conservation actions on private lands to improve ecosystem function and health and economic and ecological services for local communities impacted by the 2017 hurricane season. Learn more in this session about JCI projects to conserve and protect targeted species through biological corridor establishment, wildlife habitat improvement, and the establishment of new populations of threatened and endangered plant species.
